Eye Care

Mahavir International is committed to provide quality eye care to the needy underprivileged people of Delhi without any caste or religious bias. It is running 3 fully equipped charitable Centre in different parts of the capital where patients get free treatment, medicines & spectacles etc. To fulfil its dream & vision of making Delhi a 'Cataract Free Zone', the organization also conducts free eye & cataract operations at Rajdhani Charitable Eye and Medical Centre, Kishwarna Charitable Eye and Medical Centre, and Lala Aman Singh Jain Charitable Eye Research & Medical Centre which have modern Operation Theatres equipped with the latest state of the art equipment and services which are comparable to even the best of private hospitals. The organization has also been part of various Delhi govt. programmes over the years, for eye screening & check-ups of students, pensioners, Tihar Jail inmates among others. Regular eye camps are also organized at Pan India for check-up & treatment of various eye ailments. Till date, over 28789 cataract surgeries with IOL implants and eye sight of over 546 persons restored through eye donations and 5 cornea transplants and over 50 lakh patients have received treatment.

Health Care Services

Mahavir International Delhi is also providing integrated medical services at our 3 Centres including Eye Care, Heart Care, General Medicine, ENT, Physiotherapy, Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Homeopathy and Ayurvedic, Acupressure, Refraction / PMT, with well equipped & modernized diagnostic laboratory. Also organizing Free Eye & Medical check-up Camps Pan India and 2 vans for pick and drop of patients. So far, with more than 3092 Health/Eye check up programs organised, over 50 lakh persons have benefited from these initiatives.

Eye Pledges and Donations

Moving another step closer to realizing its dream of providing 'Sight to all', Mahavir International Delhi had launched yet another initiative, Eye Donation Pledges & mobilized a host of people from all walks of life including prominent personalities like Renowned singers Kailash Kher Shaan, Shankar Mahadevan, Ghazal Maestro Late Jagjit Singh & his troupe, sitar maestro Shujaat Khan, model Joey Mathew, Avinash Kaur Sareen, Cricketer Saba Karim, Ms. Geetika Ganjoo, Hindi Poet Sh. Ashok Chakradhar, Tarot Reader Poonam Sethi, Politician Poonam Azad and Raju Srivastava Comedy King have pledged their eyes so far. Over 34,136 persons have pledged their eyes so far. Actual eye donations from 253 persons after death have provided sight to 546 blind people.

Doctor At Door Step

It has been a mission of Mahavir International Delhi to provide medical support to the maximum no. of needy people. Towards this end, the organization has taken up an ambitious project aptly named "Doctor at Doorstep". Under this program, fully 4 equipped mobile vans complete with all medical facilities will be deputed with a team of doctors & paramedical staff to provide treatment and two vans for pick and drop of patients. This is a unique & innovative initiative by the organization to fulfil the goals set by it.

Outstation Camps

Mahavir International is also organizing outstation Eye & Health check up camps in Pan India for PSEs & Corporates at their local hubs in association with local chapters of Mahavir International APEX.

Janetiri Project

Mahavir International Delhi has initiated the Janetiri Project, aiming to educate young expectant mothers about maternal and child health to minimize the risks of complications during pregnancy and childbirth. The workshops will cover crucial topics, including prenatal care, proper nutrition and exercise during pregnancy, safe delivery practices, postpartum care, breastfeeding, birth spacing, and the advantages of small families. These sessions are proposed to take place at our health centers and community centers in close proximity to MID centers. Additionally, personalized consultations with ANC/GNM or General Duty Assistants will be available for women seeking further information. Attendees of the workshops will also receive a maternity kit and nutritional kit containing essential items to support the well-being of both the mother and her newborn. Each workshop is designed for 25-30 participants, with an approximate duration of 90 minutes. The workshops will be conducted by GNM/ANM professionals and assisted by a GDA.
