Eye Care

Mahavir International is committed to provide quality eye care to the needy underprivileged people of Delhi without any caste or religious bias. It is running 6 fully equipped charitable hospitals in different parts of the capital where patients get free treatment, medicines & spectacles etc. To fulfil its dream & vision of making Delhi a 'Cataract Free Zone', the organization also conducts free eye & cataract operations at its flagship Rajdhani Charitable Eye and Medical Centre, Kishwarna Charitable Eye and Medical Centre, and recently upgraded Lala Aman Singh Jain Charitable Eye Research & Medical Centre which have modern Operation Theatres equipped with the latest state of the art equipments and services which are comparable to even the best of private hospitals. It also has advanced facilities for detection & treatment of Glaucoma (Kala Motia).

The organization has also been part of various Delhi govt. programmes over the years, for eye screening & check-ups of students, pensioners, Tihar Jail inmates among others. Regular eye camps are also organized at various places for check-up & treatment of various eye ailments.

Till date, over 22814 cataract surgeries with IOL implants and eye sight of over 366 persons restored through eye donations and 5 cornea transplants and over 38 lakh patients have received treatment.

Health Care Services

Mahavir International Delhi is also providing integrated medical services at our 6 hospitals including Eye Care, Heart Care, General Medicine, ENT, Physiotherapy, Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Homeopathy and Ayurvedic, Acupressure, Refraction / PMT, with well equipped & modernized diagnostic laboratory. Also running 1 dispensary.

Also organizing Free Eye & Medical check-up camps and running 4 Mobile Medicare units to provide free medical facilities & distribute free medicines to poor residents of far flung areas & JJ clusters at their doorsteps and 2 vans for pick and drop of patients.

So far, with more than 2174 Health/Eye check up programs organised, over 38 lakh persons have benefited from these initiatives.

MRI And CT Scan Facilities

Recently Mahavir International Delhi has also started 1.5 Whole body MRI and CT scan facilities at newly upgraded Lala Aman Singh Jain Eye Research and Medical Centre, Hauz Rani Saket at most nominal rates.

x-ray Facilities

Recently Mahavir International Delhi has also started x-ray facilities at newly upgraded Rajdhani charitable eye and medical centre, 6550, Nabi Karim, Main Qutub Road, Near Hanuman Mandir, New Delhi-55, Lala aman singh jain charitable eye research and medical centre, Hauz Rani Saket at most nominal rates.

Eye Pledges and Donations

Moving another step closer to realizing its dream of providing 'Sight to all', Mahavir International Delhi had launched yet another initiative, Eye Donation Pledges & mobilized a host of people from all walks of life including prominent personalities like Renowned singers Shaan, Shankar Mahadevan, Ghazal Maestro Late Jagjit Singh & his troupe, sitar maestro Shujaat Khan, model Joey Mathew, Avinash Kaur Sareen, Cricketer Saba Karim, Ms. Geetika Ganjoo, Hindi Poet Sh. Ashok Chakradhar, Tarot Reader Poonam Sethi, Politician Poonam Azad and Raju Srivastava Comedy King have pledged their eyes so far.

Over 33,184 persons have pledged their eyes so far. Actual eye donations from 192 persons after death have provided sight to 328 blind people.


There are a lot of needy meritorious students coming to Delhi for competitive exams or pursuing higher studies who cannot afford the expenses of the capital. To facilitate these students to achieve their career goals, Mahavir International Delhi has set up a hostel at the premises of Rajdhani hospital at Nabi Karim. The students are provided lodging & boarding, nutritious home cooked meals, along with library facilities & telephone access at very nominal charges.

So far 5 students have qualified IAS examination, 12 Students have qualified CA Exam, 2 Probationary Officers in Banks and 1 MBA, who were staying in our hostel.

Doctor At Door Step

It has been a mission of Mahavir International Delhi to provide medical support to the maximum no. of needy people. Towards this end, the organization has taken up an ambitious project aptly named "Doctor at Doorstep". Under this program, fully 5 equipped mobile vans complete with all medical facilities will be deputed with a team of doctors & paramedical staff to provide treatment and two vans for pick and drop of patients. This is a unique & innovative initiative by the organization to fulfil the goals set by it.

Outstation Camps

Mahavir International is also organizing outstation Eye & Health check up camps in all over India for CPSEs & Corporates at their local hubs association with local chapters of Mahavir International.
